New Brasserie at The Alverton

With the opening of a brand new brasserie last month, The Alverton was proud to showcase their selection of sumptuous dishes and dazzling cocktails. This new addition certainly adds a contemporary twang to the hotel’s classical elegance and provides the perfect arena for sampling the exciting menu crafted by Head Chef Paul Stephens.

St Moritz appoints Head Chef Jamie Porter

This month we welcome new Head chef Jamie Porter to the St Moritz team. With his energy and passion for serving up some of the best locally sourced ingredients, and Kernow Sausage ofcourse, we have no doubts he will continue to push the boundaries of Cornish cuisine. Having cooked up a storm at The Seafood Restaurant we look forward to seeing him in action.

Welcome Samantha!

This month we have welcomed a brand new member to the Kernow Sausage family. Samantha Mauger will now be taking the reigns as our marketing assistant. Growing up in the city of Leicester, she spent her childhood enjoying many happy holidays to the south coast, collecting shells and chasing her sister with seaweed. After graduating from Loughborough University with a first class degree she officially migrated to Cornwall last year. Having spent the winter tearing up the slopes in the ski resort of Meribel, she has returned to Cornwall to plant her roots. Her love of the relaxed Kernow lifestyle drew her to the county where she now enjoys growing her own herb garden and catching a wave on Fistral Beach. Look out for more updates from her on our Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages, as well as on our own website. Feel free to drop her a line via samantha@kernowsausages.com
