Pigs in blankets are always one of my favourite things at Christmas dinner. I’ve added a little fruity flavour with figs whilst retaining that classic festive feel. This pigs and figs in blankets recipe also works really well a starter or nibbles for the family. Even the little ones will love them!

Method Pigs and Figs in Blankets Recipe
Preheat the oven to 200C or gas mark 6. Wrap one rasher of Finest Farmhouse Streaky Bacon around each chipolata and secure in place with a cocktail stick. Place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet ready to cook.
Next divide the cream cheese between the prunes and roll up, enclose the filling inside. Wrap one rasher of Finest Farmhouse Streaky Bacon around each prune. Again, secure with a cocktail stick and place on a baking sheet.
Bake the chipolatas first for 10 minutes. Then add the prunes and bake for a further 10 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and golden. Remove from the oven and serve!
